Scene 24-27 Date Begun: 3/18-3/20
On the highway west of London, near Tewksbury. It is May 4th. I traveled with the Nevilles to my father’s camp from Ireland. I traveled with George and Rutland, Edward had been residing with hit tutelage at Ludlow Castle. We have been in camp for three days. My father has gone to his council tent in order to meet with Buckingham who has just arrived under a flag of truce. It is around noon. About three hours later King Henry VI, Margaret, Somerset, and the Cliffords arrive. My brothers and myself have been informed of the goings-on by lieutenants who are currently running messages back and forth from the council tent to Warwick and the other lords. At around 5:30am we were given the instructions to report as bail for our father’s supposed arrest.
Scene 25-The battle of Tewksbury is in its third hour. Through the chaos of combat I have linked up with a contingent that is steadily advancing upon the city proper of Saint Albans. My group has noticed the Lancastrian forces sporadically regrouping and making a tactical retreat to the outskirts of the city on the other side, however we have encountered a good share of city street fighting. While in chase of a small group we routed, my unit came upon the courtyard in front of The Castle Inn where I found a nobleman who had upon his breastplate the Lancastrian rose. I motioned to my fellow Yorkist that I would single-handedly approach the nobleman.
Scene 27- My family including my mother and father and my brothers George, Edward, and Rutland is reconvened at York palace, days after Tewksbury. The Lancastrians have continued their march towards York and are now at the gates. The Lancastrians outnumber our forces five men to twenty.
