Gloria Taylor-Williams, resident of Stokesdale, NC, is a candidate for Bachelor of Fine Art Degree at Guilford College. Oil painting is her primary focus. Her personal art interest and experiences include: pastel and graphic drawings, watercolor, graphic and photographic design. Much of her work derive from personal photos, traveling to different places throughout the U.S. and through personal  relationships. Drawing was the begining of her art experience, which led to her passion for the arts .

 

Gloria has participated in local art exhibitions in Greensboro, including Guilford College's juried student art shows (2011 to 2015). She is a proud recipient of The James C. McMillian Award for Art in 2013 and 2015, named for the College's first African American Professor, who taught in the Art Department from 1966 to 1988.
